Many name brand shops are located in the central shopping area. It is more expensive to shop in the central shopping district but that is the place to go for the latest designs in fashion as well as the newest technology products. A large number of jewelry stores are also found in the area but there top of the line products do carry a much higher price than the daily market. Pubs, clubs, & coffeeshops, and a movie theater can also be found in the central shopping area of Rotterdam. The central shopping district is in the shape of a T with the two main streets open only to pedestrian traffic. If you are in a car then it is recommended you try the large parking garage located near the end of the pedestrian T road. It will be much cheaper and easier to park in the parking garage then to attempt to park on the street which has few parking spaces available for the general public.
